Drop the Baggage

The City of Eugene recognized that many people in the city have the desire to recycle, but hesitate to do so as they were unsure which products are accepted.

Cappelli Miles set forth the Drop the Baggage campaign: A call to action for people across the city. The campaign encouraged recycling city-wide, and increased awareness of the City’s recycling programs to educate people on which products are able to be recycled.

The ‘shock factor’ can often leave an impression in the minds of the audience. Drop the Baggage embraces this idea by showcasing how important it is to reduce the amount of trash you lug around with you. Each scene showcases a community member of the city with a ridiculous amount of trash they’re carrying around with them. The solution to reducing your ‘baggage’ is to recycle.
