Cappelli Miles Again Selected by Oregon Forest Resources Institute
Cappelli Miles has been chosen by the Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) to create a new series of educational advertising.
OFRI is a state agency funded by a dedicated harvest tax on forest products producers. Its statutory mission is to improve public understanding of Oregon’s forest resource and to encourage sound forest management practices through education.
Cappelli Miles has been OFRI’s advertising agency of record for the past five years and was selected again after the original contract expired. The new contract is for five years.
“Cappelli Miles has a proven track record or producing effective and creative work,” said OFRI Executive Director Paul Barnum. “Their efforts have helped raise Oregonians’ awareness of the environmental, social and economic contributions of our forests.”
In 2010, Cappelli Miles received a national Telly Award for an OFRI spot that featured a young woman speaking about taking care of forests generation after generation.
Cappelli Miles just completed filming a new series of TV spots. The shooting took place on family-owned forestland in western Oregon. Currently in post-production, the ads will begin airing in spring of 2012.
